The best starting point for a loan with the Leviticus Fund is a conversation. After you've read through our loan description sheets (affordable housing, community facilities, child care), give our office a call so our loan officers can understand your project financing needs. During that conversation, our loan officer will want to discuss:

• a description of your project, both the development and operating phases
• projected sources and uses of financing for the project at each phase of development, including the loan amount and terms requested from Leviticus
• the source of repayment for the loan
• collateral for the loan, including appraised value or an appraisal estimate
• a description of your organization, including its mission and main activities

If it's a good match – your organization's project and our mission, the next step is to submit a full application that will include the following items:

• descriptive brochure of your organization
• three years audited financial statements, including notes and auditors/management letter
• short, written description of project to be financed
• operating and development proforma for the project
• current budget for your organization, and year-to-date financial statement including balance sheet, income/expense report
• organizational flow chart
• articles of incorporation and by-laws, IRS tax status letter, and employee identification number
• appraisal
• environmental review

Please note that a pre-application, prior to submitting a full application, is required for startup child care centers and small existing child care centers seeking to expand.

In all cases, once a full application has been received by our office, Leviticus' loan officer will begin the loan underwriting process that may require additional information from your organization and a possible site visit. All loans are subject to final approval of the Leviticus Allocations Committee.
